Financial Planning for Multigenerational Families

Financial Planning for Multigenerational Families

You’ve created or inherited wealth, and now you have to consider how you might pass that money on to future generations to ensure a lasting legacy. We offer Multigenerational Planning for families who would like to pass as much money onto heirs as possible with as few probate and taxation issues as possible.

As Certified Financial Planners™, we apply our broad-based knowledge of tax, trust, legal, accounting, and funding strategies. In addition, we coordinate with your team of attorneys and accountants to ensure that your planning is approached holistically. Our goal is to maximize your lifestyle today and effectively transfer your wealth to future generations.

Financial Planning For Women

Financial Planning For Women

Women are the largest group of underserved clients in the financial services industry. That’s because traditional wealth-planning strategies are often geared to a “traditional” life path, the path that most men follow.

But females do not typically follow this same journey and tend to veer from this course: we often live longer, earn less and take more time off to care for others. As women, we need a better way to plan for our future!

At Knox Grove, we get it. We are women ourselves, and we understand the unique challenges and opportunities you face. As women for women, we are dedicated to helping you understand your finances, plan for the unknown, and build and protect your wealth for your future.

Through thoughtful planning, you can garner the financial freedom to pursue your dreams, bring stability to your life and the lives of your loved ones, and handle the inevitable obstacles life throws in your path. It’s time for you to take charge of your money with confidence.

Financial Planning for the LGBTQ + Community

Financial Planning for the LGBTQ + Community

Prior to the 2015 Supreme Court decision that granted universal marriage rights to all Americans, LGBTQ+ couples had to use extensive financial planning strategies to ensure that their wishes were followed while living and once deceased. Even though many of these rights have been equalized at the Federal level, many state laws continue to discriminate on matters such as adoptions, health care, housing, and access to lending for the LGBTQ+ community. Progress has been made, but many LGBTQ+ fear that what has been given could easily be taken away through our legislative and judicial processes. For those couples that have long term relationships, but choose to not marry, unique financial strategies are still needed to carry out their wishes.

Despite the numbers of those who identify as LGBTQ+ steadily increases, members of this community are still historically underserved and struggle to find services and providers that can relate to their journey and provide financial advice to accomplish both life and financial goals.

Sexual orientation and gender identity can present unique financial planning needs. Most clients want to know what they need to do to ensure their plan lasts throughout their lifetimes. When creating plans for same sex female couples, life expectancy, may be quite different versus two men or a heterosexual couple. In addition, legal documents need to be created and accessible while traveling and in medical emergencies to ensure that a couple is not looked upon as “legal strangers.”

We are proud to be a premier provider of financial planning services for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Our experience and understanding of the needs of the community make us a great planning team to have on “Your Path Forward.”
