Jodi Viaud, CFP^®

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Jodi understands the importance of discerning her clients’ experience and relationship with money, not only looking at what they have accumulated, but understanding what they are trying to achieve. As a woman and business owner who has experienced her own personal struggles, she is able to identify with the many challenges and fears that clients face in their financial lives. 

As Partner of the firm, Jodi has worked with Christina Nash since 2011 to create an environment in which clients feel comfortable and empowered to take control of their financial journey and move ahead on their “Path Forward.” Jodi understands the importance of a being a coach and teacher and takes great care in educating her clients, so they understand their goals and the path needed to reach them.

Not only does Jodi mentor and coach her clients, but she is also a mentor for other advisors through the Advisor Group “Mentor Connect” program, where she focuses on guiding financial advisors with their career path to become more effective professionals in the industry. She is an active member of The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®), an organization committed to practitioners who want to master the practice of financial planning and help shape the future of the profession. And lastly, she is a member of the Financial Services Institute, Inc (FSI), where she supports the advocacy efforts of protecting the Financial Services industry and their clients.

You may have seen Jodi on the YouTube series, “Tuesday Tip under Two Minute,” or her monthly tips in the Financial Wellness campaign, where each month she breaks down various financial topics, so they are easy to understand.   She is also a frequent expert contributor to the “Hopewell Valley Neighbors” and “Lawrence Neighbors” regional magazines. 

Jodi is an active member of her community and loves to participate in various organizations and activities. This includes Pennington Business & Professionals Association,  Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce, acting as a lead room parent at Hopewell Elementary School, sitting on professional panels for the Hopewell Valley school district, Committee Person for the 12th voting district Democratic committee, and much more!

Jodi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Ramapo College of NJ and a Master of Science in Education Administration from Drexel University. She holds the Series 7, 63, and 66 registrations from the Financial Industry Regulation Authority (FINRA) along with holding her life, health, and disabilities insurances licenses.

Jodi resides in Pennington, NJ with her husband, Ken and sons, Gavin and Ethan. In her free time, Jodi enjoys being outside and exploring the hidden gems of Mercer County, indulging her love of theatre, taking road trips with her family, and singing and dancing in the kitchen with her son.
